What the client was dealing with.
One HubSpot portal had to serve two brands: Healolly as the new primary website, Cogo Strategy as the implementation partner behind it.
The existing Cogo Strategy blog carried real SEO value and had to stay live inside the portal while the marketing pages around it were replaced.
Changing the primary domain in HubSpot reshapes every page URL, so redirects had to be planned before the switch, not patched after it.
Approved brand assets, copy and navigation arrived mid-project, so the build had to pause cleanly and resume from a single source of truth rather than placeholder pages.
The design brief was deliberately restrained: modern, human and fast — no animation-heavy pages, video backgrounds or filler copy added to fill a template.
The client wanted to keep editing everything in HubSpot after launch, so nothing could depend on developer-only code.
How we worked through it.
Handoff folder as the only source of truth
Brand guidelines, logo and favicon assets, navigation instructions and final page copy were treated as the single reference for the build — replacing the older placeholder pages and any earlier Cogo/Healolly material.
Plan the domain switch before touching pages
Healolly.com is connected and promoted to primary domain in a defined order: domain verification, page-slug mapping, then the redirect map — so the moment the switch happens, every legacy URL already has a destination.
Keep the blog, replace the site
The Cogo Strategy blog stays in the same portal with its posts, tags and authors intact, re-skinned to the Healolly brand system while the marketing pages above it are rebuilt from the approved copy.
Design from typography, not effects
The look is built from type scale, spacing, contrast, photography and layout inside the Healolly brand system — referenced against NP Digital for credibility, Wes McDowell for approachability and CareHQ for making a complex healthcare subject feel simple.
Six pages, one editable system
Homepage, Hidden Practice Report, How We Help, Results, About and the existing blog — built on global header/footer partials and drag-and-drop sections so the client can keep publishing without a developer.
