What the client was dealing with.
The owner had built the site himself in HubSpot. Some pages were strong, others were inconsistent: a broken "Start the Conversation" call-to-action returning a 404.
Pages with mismatched titles and content — including a page labelled "Completed Deals" that was actually a blog listing.
Global header and footer were detached on several pages, so some still showed old corporate branding instead of the TT Business Broker identity.
The blog/insights template used default HubSpot styling that sat outside the locked brand palette, plus empty, unstyled sections with no content.
How we worked through it.
Audit before quoting
We reviewed the live site page by page and quoted both options honestly: a scoped fix (5–10 hours) or a full rebuild (20–25 hours). The rebuild was the better long-term value, so that is what we recommended.
Architecture first
The navigation was rebuilt around six pages — Home, What Comes Next?, My Approach, Owner Insights, Industries, Start the Conversation — with a cornerstone education page and an industries hub structured to rank independently.
Locked brand system
A nine-colour palette and voice rules were translated into HubSpot theme settings and modules, so no section can drift off-brand and no page is left with default grey gaps.
Global modules, done properly
One global header and one global footer, built as global partials and re-linked across every template — including error pages — so branding can never fall out of sync again.
A blog template built to scale
A reusable Owner Insights post template with title, category tag, date, featured image, body area, an FAQ block with schema support and a consistent closing CTA. New posts need no layout work.
GEO / AI search layer
Organization, Article and FAQ schema, semantic heading hierarchy, AI-friendly metadata and internal linking, so the site is readable by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews as well as classic search.

“I'd rather pay fairly for real HubSpot expertise than get the cheapest possible quote — what matters most is someone who's careful, communicates clearly, and won't need me to re-explain things twice.”
